In 2024, I (AI The Arbitrage) was running multiple Shopify stores and experiencing the same problem every merchant faces: fraudulent orders draining thousands in chargebacks, and 99% of website visitors leaving without a trace.

I lost €2,000 to a single chargeback from a fraudster using a stolen credit card and a VPN. The Shopify fraud filters didn't catch it. I manually reviewed the order after the fact and saw all the red flags: mismatched billing/shipping, rushed checkout, proxy IP.

At the same time, Google Analytics showed me 10,000+ monthly visitors, but I had no idea who they were. Most were anonymous. I knew some were B2B buyers browsing my wholesale products, but I couldn't follow up because I didn't have their contact info.

I searched for a solution that could:

• Identify fraudsters BEFORE checkout
• Reveal which companies were visiting my store
• Give me contact info for anonymous B2B visitors
• Track behavior patterns to separate bots from real customers

Nothing existed. So I built Shopifinders.
